Pavilion Labour Women’s Branch is a meeting open to all members of Brighton Pavilion Constituency Labour Party who self-identify as women.
We aim to meet alternate months (on no set date). Sometimes this is a meeting with speakers, other times it is a coffee morning (or afternoon). Every March we run the Pavilion Labour activities for International Women’s Day and we get involved with all other Pavilion Labour campaign days, meetings and activities – as you would expect of Labour women!
Our Branch is chaired by Katie, who is also Pavilion Labour’s Women’s Officer, and our secretary is Claire.
Please contact us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or follow our tweets as @PavilionWomen .
Pavilion Labour Women have highlighted campaigns on local and national issues, most recently promoting the call for justice, equality and inclusion for trans and non-binary people. We also have many members actively involved with local education and NHS campaigns. We are committed supporters of rail public ownership and call for proper staffing on our stations and trains, so that rail travel is secure and accessible for everyone.
Thanks to everyone who gets involved in our campaigns. Come along to one of our activities soon!
