Hollingdean and Stanmer Branch Labour Party, known to us locally as HS Branch, covers the neighbourhoods of Hollingdean, North Moulsecoomb, Coldean and Stanmer, from Hollingbury Park sweeping down to the CityClean depot and the Gyratory, skirting the Lewes Road up passed the University of Brighton, to North Moulsecoomb, Wild Park, Coldean, the University of Sussex and Stanmer Park.
We hold regular members’ meetings and campaigning activities. All meetings start at 7.30pm and venues alternate between either St Richard’s Church Hall or City Gate in Hollingdean (H) and Larchwood Café in Coldean (C), as indicated. At other times you may find us running a street stall at Fiveways, or helping other Pavilion Labour friends with one of our town centre stalls. Our members also support Action For Rail campaigning at Moulsecoomb station.
HS Branch can be contact by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Branch is chaired by Sarah and our Secretary is Adam.
Two of our three ward councillors elected in 2019 are Labour representatives: Theresa Fowler and Tracey Hill. Our congratulations to Theresa on her election and to Tracey on her re-election, as well as commiserations to Phil Clarke, our other Labour candidate, who missed out on becoming our third Labour councillor by just 56 votes. Many thanks to everyone who volunteered to help with Labour’s campaign in Hollingdean and Stanmer.
